REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY

This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how subscription cancellations and refunds work for the services provided by Acira AI LLC ("Company," "we," "us," "our"). This policy is incorporated into and forms part of our Terms and Conditions (the "Legal Terms"). Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given to them in the Legal Terms. In the event of any conflict between this policy and the Legal Terms, the Legal Terms govern.

This policy may be translated into other languages for your convenience. In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between the English version and any translated version, the English version shall prevail.


1. General Refund Policy

Unless required by applicable law or otherwise provided in this policy, all purchases are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. This includes subscription fees for paid plans, whether billed monthly or annually.

We may issue refunds on a discretionary basis (see Section 2), where you exercise an applicable statutory withdrawal or cancellation right (see Section 3), or where a Product is not as described, faulty, or not fit for purpose (see Section 4). Refunds will not be issued where there is evidence of fraud, refund abuse, or other manipulative behavior. If you receive a refund, your access to the relevant paid features will cease.

If you have any questions or are unsatisfied with our Services, please email us at legal@acira.ai before requesting a chargeback so we can try to resolve the issue directly.

2. Discretionary Refunds

We may, at our sole discretion, issue a refund if a request is submitted within fourteen (14) days of the transaction date. Submitting a request within this period does not guarantee a refund.

All refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. We may consider relevant factors including the nature of the Product, the reason for the request, and usage. We may approve a refund in full, approve a partial refund, or decline the request. Any discretionary refund is voluntary and does not create an obligation to provide refunds in the future, including for similar requests.

3. Canceling Your Subscription

You can cancel your subscription at any time by logging into your account. Your cancellation will take effect at the end of the current paid term, and you will retain access to paid features until then. Cancellation prevents any further payments from being taken.

Upon cancellation, your website will revert to the free plan and features exclusive to paid plans will no longer be available. Any domains associated with your account will continue to be governed by the "Domain Registration Services" section of our Terms and Conditions.

4. Statutory Withdrawal and Cancellation Rights

Where local consumer protection laws grant unconditional withdrawal or cancellation rights, those rights apply and override any other provision of this policy. Where regional differences apply, we apply the highest standard of protection across the relevant country. Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable statutory rights you may have under applicable consumer law.

  • European Union / EEA / United Kingdom / Switzerland. If you are a consumer, you have a fourteen (14) day statutory right to withdraw from your purchase and receive a full refund, without giving any reason. This right applies to one-off purchases and to the first payment under a subscription; it does not apply to subsequent subscription payments, except as noted below. If your subscription includes a free trial, a new fourteen (14) day period begins when the free trial ends. If you completed your purchase in the United Kingdom and have an annual subscription, a new fourteen (14) day period begins on the day the subscription auto-renews for another year. To exercise this right, request a refund within fourteen (14) days of the transaction.
  • Turkey / Israel. Consumers have a fourteen (14) day statutory right to withdraw and receive a full refund. To exercise this right, request a refund within fourteen (14) days of the transaction.
  • South Korea / Brazil / China. Consumers have a seven (7) day unconditional right to cancel after delivery and receive a full refund. To exercise this right, request a refund within seven (7) days of the transaction.
  • Canada. Consumers have a seven (7) day unconditional right to cancel after delivery and receive a full refund. To exercise this right, request a refund within seven (7) days of the transaction.
  • Singapore. Consumers have a five (5) day unconditional right to cancel after delivery or first access and receive a full refund. To exercise this right, request a refund within five (5) days of the transaction.

5. Refunds for Technical or Product Defects

If you experience persistent technical issues or a material defect that prevents you from accessing the features or benefits as described, contact us at legal@acira.ai so we can attempt to resolve the issue. Where the issue cannot be resolved and there is evidence of a material technical or product defect, we will issue a refund in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.

6. Domains

Domain registration is included with paid subscription plans at no additional cost; domains are not sold as a separate purchase. If a domain registration is unsuccessful, you will be notified and may attempt registration again. Domain renewal is included at no additional cost while your paid subscription remains active. See the "Domain Registration Services" section of our Terms and Conditions for full details.

7. Payment Processors and Merchant of Record

Depending on your location and the checkout you are directed to, your purchase is processed through Stripe (Stripe Managed Payments) or Paddle. In both cases, the provider acts as the Merchant of Record — the authorized reseller and seller of record for that transaction — and may handle billing, tax, refunds, and payment disputes on our behalf, subject to its own buyer terms:

  • Stripe (Managed Payments). Where Stripe is the Merchant of Record, your purchase is completed through Stripe and may appear on your receipt as "Sold through Link" (with a card statement descriptor beginning "LINK.COM*"). The applicable buyer terms are presented to you at checkout, and refund and post-purchase support requests may be handled through Stripe's support.
  • Paddle. Where Paddle is the Merchant of Record, your purchase is also subject to Paddle's Buyer Terms and Paddle's Refund Policy. For any transaction where Paddle is the Merchant of Record, Paddle's Refund Policy governs your refund and withdrawal rights and prevails over any inconsistent provision of this policy.

Where the applicable Merchant of Record's policy or applicable law grants you greater rights than this policy, those greater rights apply. Regardless of which Merchant of Record handles your payment, you can contact us at legal@acira.ai about any refund request.

Business tax refunds. If you are a business registered for sales tax, VAT, GST, or a similar tax in your country of purchase, you may be entitled to a refund of the tax charged on your purchase. To request a tax refund, contact the applicable Merchant of Record within sixty (60) days of the transaction and provide a valid tax registration number or, where applicable, a tax exemption certificate. Tax refunds are administered by the Merchant of Record in accordance with its buyer terms and applicable law.

8. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

We encourage you to contact us, or the applicable Merchant of Record, before raising a chargeback or a dispute with your bank, card issuer, or other payment provider, so we can try to resolve the matter directly. If you initiate a chargeback or payment reversal, access to the relevant paid features may be temporarily suspended while the matter is reviewed. This does not affect your lawful rights to dispute a charge under card-scheme or consumer-protection rules.

9. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund or ask about a charge, email legal@acira.ai from the email address associated with your account, including your account details and the reason for your request. Where your purchase was processed by a Merchant of Record, you may also request a refund directly through the provider using the links in your transaction confirmation email or receipt. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method, where possible within fourteen (14) days of approval. The time for the refund to appear depends on your payment provider.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time by posting a revised version at https://www.acira.ai/refunds. The version in effect at the time of your transaction governs that transaction. Your continued use of the Services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
